Household Mixed Items
These items may be placed together in one bin:
- Furniture (no mattresses or box springs)
- Clothing and household items
- Toys, junk, and personal belongings
- Non-recyclable plastics and paper
*This category is for household mixed items only. Construction and renovation materials must be sorted separately.
*Not allowed in this category: metal, liquids, electronics.
Construction and Renovation Debris
These items may be placed together in one bin:
- Drywall
- Wood
- Flooring (vinyl, laminate, carpet, underlay)
- Insulation
- Windows and doors (metal-free only)
*All metal must be removed and separated.
Metal (Separate Bin Required)
- Scrap metal of any kind
- Metal framing, studs, ducting, rebar
*Metal is not permitted in mixed dumpsters.
Heavy Materials (8-Yard Rock Box Only)
- Gravel and sand
- Concrete, brick, asphalt and shingles
*Heavy materials must be placed in our 8-yard dumpsters and may not be mixed with other waste.
Prohibited Items
Batteries – No batteries of any kind are allowed
Hazardous & Biohazardous Materials – Including medical waste, sharps, fecal matter, deceased animals, or contaminated materials
Food Waste (use city garbage or organics services)
Weapons – Firearms, ammunition, and related materials are not accepted.
Paint and Chemicals – Including solvents, cleaners, fuels, pesticides, or pool chemicals
Petroleum Products – (motor oil, gasoline, diesel, propane tanks, gas cylinders, aerosol cans)
Electronics & Appliances – Of any kind (TVs, computers, printers, large or small appliances)
Tires – Any size are not accepted.
Asbestos – Including insulation, drywall compounds, floor tiles, or vermiculite
Liquids of any kind.
Important Notice
*Loads containing prohibited items may be refused, returned, or subject to additional charges. Customers are responsible for ensuring all materials comply with these rules.
